There's always One who is near to find comfort in. It is written that Jehovah is close to the broken hearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. So this is where I took comfort, and all the more so experienced it through hoping in Him all things.
This comfort is available to all who seek it. It is not partial or prejudice. Nor does it favour good over the bad. Because it takes good to recognise bad. No matter what shoes we have walked in. Love hopes all things. And this is the pure foundation to real comfort. Psalm 34:18,19

Ship With No Harbor
I was a ship with no harbor
No tide
Lost in the waves where dreams will hide
But then you came
A lighthouse glow
Guiding me where love would grow
The stars
They whispered your name
The winds
They carried your flame
Forever in your eyes
I see the skies
Endless and blue
Love that never dies
Forever in your touch
The world aligns
I found my heart
In your lifelines
You are the dawn that chases the night
A tender warmth
A glowing light
With every step
The shadows fade
In your embrace
I'm unafraid
The Rivers
They sing our tune
The Sun
It rises for you
Forever in your eyes
I see the skies
Endless and blue
Love that never dies
Forever in your touch
The world aligns
I found my heart
In your lifelines
I was a ship with no harbor
No tide
Lost in the waves where dreams will hide
But then you came
A lighthouse glow
Guiding me where love would grow
Forever in your eyes
Love that never dies
But then you came
A lighthouse glow
