One man outfit. Jim - drums. Jim - guitars. Jim - vocals. Jim - sound engineer. Experimental beat poetry set to jazz music, The Doors of Gary, Jim Morrison, Venice, California, Wierdo, Freak, Beatnick. Poetry wrote 90's. Recorded in the 2003.
It was all random poetry, Frankenstoner just busted out improv from his poetry notebook, improv to this beat Frankenstoner crafted in 2003, recording various albums, fast in his bedroom. The lyrics seemed to fit in, after the first take, and Frankenstoner said, "cool, done." & never cared about it after that. I never hardly even listened to it, since. Where is Frankenstoner? Can you find him!?
Probably influenced by the concept of the Doors, a bit there, as I wrote the original poetry in the late 1990's. I came up with the improv guitars, and drums, sort of bluesy/jazzy, in 2003, and recorded that then. I then recorded the vocals then, reading them off my old poetry notebook from the late 1990's, and then it was a done deal. I think I was trying to be weird, offbeat, on purpose, so that's why I think and say, the Doors band, from the 60's, and 70's. I'd have to say they were a bit of an influence on me, back in the 1990's, for sure. This seems loosely also the inspiration for my FUCKED UP SONG, things sort of like that, I'd say. Again, that song, was done, virtually in the same exact way, also. You know that album, song, and concept called STRANGE DAYS? Los Angeles, 1960's, Venice, California? Things like that.
