Garage Band in 1989 featuring Chris Dobbins on Guitars and Vocals; Kris Pugmire on Guitars, Drums, and Vocals; Troy Donoughue on Drums and Vocals; and Rick Gold on Guitars. 2001: Lyrics by Troy, recorded in 1991 with Troy on vocals, Kris on rhythms.
In 1991 I had this strange prediction that in the year 2001, the world was gonna go through a dramatic crisis. Perhaps it was from all the Science Fiction movies I watched as a kid. But I wanted to tell the story that in 10 years, in the year 2001, that all Hell would break loose. Well, I guess I can say my prediction came true. The world sure did change in 2001.
Lyrics written in 1991; Music written and recorded in 1991
(1st Verse)
Men are fighting, women are crying,
the people are praying, this world is dying.
The money we're makin', it's all been taken,
the powers are waking, the weak are achin'.
(Chorus)
All Hell's breakin' loose, 2001.
I said all Hell's breakin' loose, 2001.
We're getting smaller and smaller under earth's sun.
2001. 2001.
(2nd Verse)
Kids aren't learning, the schools are burning,
parents are yearning until things start turning.
The more we're winning, the more we're losing,
all existance sinning, the Devil is choosing. *
