Story behind the song
This song was inspired by my grandson, Elisha, and 40% of the music comes from him. We have been practicing some songs together, with him on the violin and me on the guitar. I took his idea home and put in the rest of the music and words that I felt went with the music. I had no intention of any particular application, but I think it has particular application to people who are experiencing a difficult trial.

There are days I struggle greatly. I feel Im over my head
It is clear that Satan hates me and wants me dead
So my heart turns to the Savior. Hes the One who makes me whole
There cannot be any other to save my soul
I run to Him. He sets me free and flee from sin thats chasing me
Walk in the light and in the power of the Lords might each day and hour
Everyday in Jesus arms, Hes my staff and stay. Hes protecting me from harm and guides my way
Hes the Way, the Truth, the Life each & every day teaching me to do whats right guiding my way
Helping me to put armor on, follow the Son of God
Im amazed when I see Jesus and the miracles He does
I am sure that He can heal us, showing His love
When I walk through the shadow and death knocks at my door
Covenants, like His rainbow, make me adore Him
He is always there at my side with His Spirit to be my guide
He has a plan in which I live and from His hand I am forgiven
And when I walk in His will, everything I say, He is faithful to fulfill the things I pray
All things work out for the good of those who are called all according to His word, he wont let me fall
And when life is through and I go to be with Him in Heaven
I will joy in my Savior and will be free from all sin
So thankful that He has let His child live with Him
