Story behind the song
This was written for a classmate of mine in high-school. Kim Frizzell was a gorgeous blonde that I had a crush on. I heard Baby Blue by Badfinger and liked the last line "My Dixie Dear". So what better way to impress someone than to "kip" a nickname and Write them a song. I actually got to go to our 40th year HS Reunion with her. We had a blast!
