NEW SONG VIDEO "WENDY." Drive by Wendy almost everyday as I travel down the road into Wrightsville. Her roadside memorial at the end of Mount Pisgah Road past Sam Lewis State Park at the section of Cool Creek Road. See Wendy’s memorial there everyday wondering who she was as I drive by. Been driving by her roadside memorial site for the last 25 years. Took of a pic of her roadside memorial. Others have shown up recently along with Windy. I keep thinking who was Windy and the others who left earth there in a car wreck there. I wrote this guitar piece with poem. called “Wendy.” Give a listen. If you get a chance drive by her roadside site at the section where her cross along with the others and if you knew her let me know who she was. I always wonder thinking. Who was Wendy. Sometimes I think maybe someone should take the cross down and let Wendy go home.
Who is Wendy
I see her cross standing there, along the road.
On the roadside bank, for 25, or more years now.
Drive by her roadside site almost every day.
a car accident that left her where she lay.
Maybe it’s time to let Wendy go,
and all the others along the road,
Maybe it’s time, to let them all go.
Who is Wendy,
Don’t know her last name.
Or what happened, was there someone to blame,
Was she just a teenager out with her friends
Innocent Kids thinking nothing will ever happen to them.
Wendy’s worn wooden cross.
been there now for 25 long years.
Two more crosses added now,
since Wendy’s left her memory on the hill,
Wonder if someone drives by her
everyday, in never-ending tears,
Looking at Wendy’s cross on the hill,
as they drive past her through the years.
Maybe it’s time to let Wendy go.

Reminders of where they died, many years ago.
