A simple, very stripped back piano song written in August 2017 with a strong, positive message about unity, understanding and freedom in the world today.
The lyric is entitled Its Up To Us! and it all began when listening to a news bulletin about a terrorist attack in France. This was quickly followed by more bulletins about further attacks elsewhere in the world and I thought why cant we all just get along together, its up to us really and the first lyrical seeds were sown. When the first verse was completed, I thought it might suit a few chords I was playing with at the time and hey, it seemed a perfect fit so I continued with it. With the help of talented session musician Deri on vocals, the result is a song that Im really quite proud of.
