Story behind the song
As children we wait for our dreams to come true. We are dependent upon our parents. We write letters to Santa Claus or pray as if God were Santa Claus. To become adults we are told to set aside dreams, to get serious and work. I did not want to let go of my dreams in order to become an adult. Therefore, I decided to seriously work towards my dreams. Henry David Thoreau wrote “If you have built castles in the air your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” What encourages you to work for your dreams?
