Story behind the song
Second Act:
After walking all day the children are tired and hungry. They see an old deserted shack and decide it might be a good place to rest. But the shack is not so deserted- inside is a bum who sees them coming and thinks he might be able to get some money from their parents. He hides behind the door, and when the children are inside, closes the door. He sings the fourth song of the musical to the frightened children.
