Story behind the song
I have always been a huge fan of comics. I read them since I learned to read and I have never really stopped :) My first Superman and Batman stories were great, but spiderman blew me away. He was someone you could identify with, a regular guy, who became a hero by accident.
He has an aura of fear around him, many people are afraid of spiders, and yet he keeps firing one-liners like some standup comedian.
I tried to capture the dark, lurking in the shadows Spiderman and also the web-swinging loudly yelling, racing-along-the-skyscrapers Spidey dude.
I played all the guitars and did the vocals. The piano and upright bass are programmed, meaning I input the chords and extensions, bassnotes for the chords, lifts, stops, holds and I chose the style. The sampler program did the rest :0)
