Story behind the song
A buddy of mine is making some pickup prototypes, and since I'm loving them so much, I had two of them installed in my Shred Tele. This is a quick tone test of the both of them, using the "A Minor Affair" backing track from Guitar Center's King of the Blues contest backing tracks. The signal chain for the recording is as follows:
Guitar > Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde (Jekyll tubescreamer side) > Boss CE-5 > Visual Sound H2O (for the delay) > Marshall Class 5 head > AxeTrak isolation cabinet > Sonar 8.5.
There's no post EQ on the lead guitar track. All delay is from the H2O pedal.
