Story behind the song
I am a music first kind of songwriter and usually when I am writing I will sing something (La-la-la's or nonsense words) just to get an idea of how the vocal melody will fit in with the chords. When I am ready to write the lyrics I replace what I started singing with real words. On this song I started singing "fire it up" when I wrote it intending to replace it later but the words stuck so here it is. Fire It Up.
