Story behind the song
Every time, Skip and myself would get together when working on our first album, at the end of the session, Skip would always pick up my guitar and start playing this beautiful melody. I got him to sing me the words, which were a bout a lady he knew who ruined her life with drugs. He thought of it as just a ditty, but I heard it as a great, almost spiritual song. I pretty much had to beg him into recording it, but we got it. And I am so glad we did, as I think it was/is one of, if not the best thing we ever recorded.
