In 1996, shortly after putting together my first MIDI music studio, I had lots of fun playing around with improvising pieces, using the original version of Finale. Wondering what it would be like to write a film score, I whipped up this piece in a single sitting, making only a couple of minor edits. I envisioned a gentle romantic film with emphasis on serious personal interrelations and created this music to set the opening mood.
