Teenage angst at its peak.
I was sitting at home at the piano. I had a glass of water and some of it spilled on my fingers, so I mindlessly flung the water from my fingertips towards the cat, Leo, while simultaneously shouting at him,
"Do you FEEL the MOISTURE, Leo?!?"
That changed into, "Do you feel the moisture near?" because people don't know who Leo is. Or that he's a cat.
(Verse 1):
Do you feel the moisture near? Do you feel the hidden sweat?
Do you feel the moisture near? Tell me, are you dripping yet? (Yet)
I had trust and I had power. I had everything I sought.
You declared and you deflowered what I owned and truly fought for.
Now I'm sinking, sinking lower. I hate the way you chew and speak
(yada yada yada)
Really wish this trip was over; this teenage angst has reached its peak.
(Chorus):
I was like a tiger, you had me through your loops.
Now, tell me, why, why her?
I need you, I can't function in groups.
(Verse 2)
How will you get the butterflies if you have to be in control?
I laid and stayed dead-locked in your eyes.
These piles of miles will take their toll. (toll)
Now, I know you want the best, but I'm losing air with every breath.
I can't stand that you're always testing me!
I've barely even left the nest.
(Chorus):
I was like a tiger, you had me through your loops,
Now, tell me why, why her?
I need you, I can't function in groups.
