Story behind the song
In My Life I once read in a church bulletin on the subject of submission. As we submit ourselves to God, we must also be willing to submit our ways. To be holy is to be completely and reservedly submitted to God. Loving God, our brothers and our enemies. I believe that if we show God our willingness that he will provide us with more of His grace, and how it would bless us even more. I pray that by loving Him will testify to others, that they may see the difference he's made in my life.

Steve W. Smith - In My Life Copyright with US Library of Congress Sted Records, Steve W. Smith, ASCAP I submit myself to you, now and always With all of my might, all of my heart I will love you I submit my ways to yours, for each trial that comes along That I may be like you You are holy (chorus) And I'll excercise your grace in my life And I know it will bless me more and more It will testify to all whose around me The difference you've made in my life I open my ear, to hear of the mysteries Of what you have in store, the mysteries that are meant For me Though my vision is incomplete, till I stand in your presence I'll do my best, to let someone see (repeat chorus) Lyrics may not be reproduced without permission from the publisher
