The Fiscal Cliff
Before we slip out of the Capitol
We have to pass another bill
Another money pit to fill
Below that cliff, the fiscal cliff
We strike a deal by New Year's Eve
Or crash the world economy
And if they pin the blame on me
I'll blame George Bush, you blame Bill C
No taxes hiked, no loopholes closed
We kicked the can on down the road
We ran out of hot air to blow
Out of our dog and pony show
The fiscal cliff is super-sized
John Boehner cries, Obama's high
Before we're paralyzed let's try
To compromise, better compromise
