The entire song is about perception. Not just one certain person's perception, but just perception itself. It could be me, some conservative wal mart shopper, or the kid across the street who plays his music too loud. But just perception, and how they look at the world and life itself. And I never saw what the perception is of, it could be our government, our enviroment, or just how you look at your shoes
