For those of you remember people like Curt Cobain, Lane Staley, and Mike Starr, you'll really feel the emotional connection of this song as it relates to their lives, drug use/abuse, and eventual deaths. It's an empathetic view of the perspectives they had when they were in their own individual, self-induced states... And, how the peace, comfort, and serenity they felt in these states while under the influence of drugs, eventually put them in a state of mind where they never wanted to return to reality. The high was better than life itself.
