I played two games "Human Race" on C64 and "Goldrunner" on Atari ST where I heard this music.
First I wanted to create my own instrumental cover version ,
but I couldn't find good samples.
Instead I found a site with free remakes of game music.
Then an idea came to my mind - it would be a great rock song.
I wrote a lyric and added my vocals.
I am a subholy brother of Deimos
I can fear the madness that flows through your veins
We can't lose ourselves
We can't drown ourselves
In the sea of despair
For the wrath of Hekate
In the ocean of oblivion
For the glory of Selene
Forever and Evil
You are an explicit sister of Venus
I can fear your shadow approaching to me
And I'm touching your hair and you're watching me burn
I was cold as a fjord, now I burn like a flame
Then you're touching my hair with the flames in your hands
We are watching it burn, let it burn, take no care
We can't lose ourselves
We can't drown ourselves
In the sea of despair
For the glory of Hekate
In the ocean of oblivion
In the sea of rapture
Forever in violence
And we're watching their gold turns
To rust and we laugh
We are losing our shadows and
Our bodies now
And we drown
Drown
In the sea of despair
