Story behind the song
Inspiration from the lost valley of Rivendell and the house of Elrond (Lord Of The Rings, first book); Elves' music itself describing these beautiful lands and the final departure of Elves to new. Since I'm big fan of Tolkien's novels (I was just a teen) I dreamed visiting Rivendell as it is my favourite corner in Middle-earth, together with Lothlorien, the forest; finally I decided to depict this place with a melody, and all my love. Oboe, flute, ethereal voices and piano draw together a soundscape easy to remember. I will be very glad if I have some feedback from those of you reading LOTR to have your impressions.
