collab with Faunaserene on vocals this is my poem expounding on the Buddhist idea of emptiness...
this is my poem expounding on the Buddhist idea of emptiness...
I'll just be preaching, preaching to the fading choir
telling them all of the things they already know...
the beauty of emptiness is in its simplicity
its simplicity is the main cause for its misinterpretation
it merely sounds complex...
but at its core it is really the simplest of ideas
everything is nothing and nothing is everything
neither everything or nothing even exist
while existing simultaneously
this only sounds convoluted...
it's as easy as one plus one equals two
only much harder to explain;
what riddle is this of which you speak?
everything is nothing?
none of it matters much to me.
if life is math and math is numbers and numbers are words
then life would be the equation of language
letters into numbers, linguistical nonsense.
has anyone ever found enlightenment while sitting on a toilet?
of course 'finding' enlightenment implies that there was something to look for in the first place...
emptiness is the space between an object and its given name
or the space between a person and what they call themselves
the space between a person and how they define themselves
the space between distinction and non-distinction;
I'll just be preaching, preaching to the fading choir
telling them all the things they already know to be true;
emptiness is oneness, oneness is everything and nothing
do not get lost in confusion...
emptiness is lack of distinction
emptiness itself is merely another distinction of something indistinct to begin with...
all is none, unity is distinction of the already indistinct...
