Often times we come to the Lord when we're broke down & stranded on the side of the road. Life without God is like RUNNING ON EMPTY--eventually you run out of gas and have to call for help.
Story behind the song
This is the 1st song I wrote after coming to the Lord in September 2009 and the 1st song Dennis and I recorded together as the Kingsonz. I had been a roller coaster Christian for many years, only praying "911 prayers" when I needed help out of a dire situation. The 1st verse reflects my old attitude. The 2nd verse reflects my attitude after truely accepting Christ as my saviour and allowing Him to drive. Dennis verse is a reflection of his own coming to Christ.
