Dawn Chorus is a pseudo band. The track "Spring Chorus" is to be used to promote the plight of the African Elephant. Unless urgent action is taken, evil ivory poachers will drive this once abundant animal to extinction within the next 10 years or so. The idea that the humble meek blackbird can sing in support of the massive lumbering elephant touchingly emphasises two contrasting creatures of the natural world with the smaller looking out for the much larger When I composed the track I was looking for the blackbird to sing the entire melody that the flute plays. Unfortunately the technology still isn't available to achieve this and make it sound realistic so I've had to be satisfied with regular samples being inserted singing single notes in key throughout the verses 2 - 4.
