Ralph said about the title of the song :
This song really has that 'fun in the sun', summertime vibe. It reminded me of the beach the moment I heard it so that's why I said surf music. There is an expression among surfers called 'hangin' ten' which means you are riding a wave with all ten toes hanging off the edge of the surfboard. There is also a recent cultural joke about 'turning it up to 11'. I combined those 2 ideas so it's a bit tongue-in-cheek.
