Story behind the song
i wrote this a long time ago, primarily triggered by talk of instuting the draft after 9/11 (and reading "stupid white men"). this version remixed/remasted march 22nd, 2004. instrumentation: real guitar, the synth arpeggios in the chorus are dreamstation (a cheap softsynth), GM strings + piano.

Dm CM Am GM do radical alqida terrorists got you down? are those stupid anti-turban gangs running a muck in your town? does the threat of worldwide violance leave you not knowing what to do? well, in that case, i have a song for you.... hey, it's ok! our president's a cokehead with a 4th grade reading level! hey, i know what you'll say! it's fine if his tax cuts aren't quite exactally level! so, didn't you know? politicians are exploiting the lower and middle classes! so, how should it go? i think that they should all bend over and kiss our asses! when we try to make other contries a representive democercy and push our ideals on them so forecefully we smile and tell them how to run their own contry it dosen't seem like such a good idea to me hey, it's ok! even we can't hold our own free elections! hey, i know what you'll say! then why should we be the ones giving others directions? so, didn't you know? that george w bought + paid for the presedency so, how should it go? i'm not fighting for someone that represents nobody all this violence may put us in a chrisis but at least they don't kill people over oil prices i wonder why these terrorists's point seems so unclear but i have to remember we're the ones dealing in fear [sample of george bushe's 'blanket alert statement']
