Story behind the song
This is a Trance song I put a lot of dedication into. I had 2 Versions of the song. This is the second, and the better version since the first one got scrapped. The very first version was called The 2nd Day because it took two days in the making. I asked a friend what he thought about it when the heavy 3xOsc kicked in because I wanted to know if it sounded like early 90s dance. He said it did so I decided to change it. I was really inspired by Robert Mies and Paul Van Dyk for making very dreamy sounding trance so that's how I decided to switch the song up. Then I added a PLUCK channel inspired by Children by Robert Miles and things went up hill from there. I also decided to slow it down from 140bpm to 137bpm (I know its only a three beat difference but it just feels better). I dunno where the Paul Van Dyk inspiration comes from but I was listening to For An Angel a lot while making this song. There was also a Grand Piano channel added inspired by Toby Emerson's, Prisoner. As the song kept on building I decided to call it Dreams just because I wanted it to give off that dreamy feeling that Robert Miles and Paul Van Dyk gave when listening to there songs.
