emo agressive poppunk ind
An emo-charged indie pop-punk band that straddles the edge of hardcore and screamo.
Hailing from a small city on the border of California and Arizona, Mistakenly Talented has emerged. The emo-charged punk band whose roots were planted in Pop-punk covers of such bands as Blink 182 and A New Found Glory, has transcended into a much different sound. Although many line-up changes from as early as 2000 have been made, Mistakenly Talented has progressed into a blend of aggressive pop-punk that straddles the edge of hardcore and screamo. Whether it's the fast-paced melodic drums laid down by Micah Capra, the captivating leads of Michael Williams, the crisp and solid bass lines of Eric Flamer, the rough sounding metallic riffs of Ryan Warrell, or the harmonized breathy vocals of Vince Zarate, Mistakenly Talented will prove to be one of the most innovating sounds coming out of the So-Cal punk scene today. In January of 2004, Mistakenly Talented released The Make No Mistake EP, which is currently being distributed for free throughout Southern California.

Lyrics
You come over here, to tell me that it's over, The longest half mile drive of your life. So wipe the salty tears now in your eyes, Hold my hand in yours, just one last time... Say Goodbye! Closer than I ever thought I'd been before, But misreading you was always my forte. And maybe you're right, this is good for me, To walk a mile or two of life on my own. On my own Take the pain built up inside over time, And you think you could just throw it all in my face. Give way for memorie, good or bad throw them away. Time can heal all wounds or so I've heard. And I hope it's true! Closer than I ever thought I'd been before, But misreading you was always my forte. And maybe you're right, this is good for me, To walk a mile or two of life on my own. On my own Say Goodbye... Just say Goodbye... Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye... Say Goodbye!!!!! Closer than I ever thought I'd been before, But misreading you was always my forte. And maybe you're right, this is good for me, To walk a mile or two of life on my own. On my own
