Songwriter, home recordist, and occassional performer. I write songs intended primarily for bikers who have either found Jesus or need to. For those that see
I've been a songwriter from the moment I picked up my first guitar. Over the years I've developed some skills on the keyboard as well which I use extensively in my home recording studio. I see myself more as a songwriter and session recorder than performer, though I do occassionally perform. Although I've written conventional and traditional material for most of my life, I gave up on it several years ago, primarily because there was nothing I found inspiring. Then I let Jesus come into my life and the inspiration began flowing like a river once again. I believe this is because God has a new mission for me, and that is to reach out and minister, through my music, to those in dire need of his saving grace. My audience is more likely to have tatoos and a motorcycle than a nice haircut and a minivan. This is for the folks who felt life rejected them from the beginning, so they have rejected life...but in doing so, they rejected the only thing in life that could save them from their misery. As one of the pastors from North Carolina's Freedom Riders stated to me, you can't ride free if you don't know what real freedom is, and only Jesus can give you that kind of freedom. I don't think you have to own a bike to have a biker mindset and to relate to this music. This music is for anyone who has felt beaten by life. Those who have tried all the worldly avenues to try and fill the hole in their hearts, but have found nothing but more misery and pain. For the hopeless in search of hope. And for those that have found Jesus and desperately hold onto that precious gift because they know, better than anyone else, how miserable life can be without it.

Story behind the song
A recollection of many family Christmas holidays, from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Enjoy your family. They are what Christmas is about.
Lyrics
Christmas Everywhere © 2009 D. George Verse: The leaves have started turning, there’s dirty dishes everywhere The turkey’s all been eaten and Grandpa’s napping in his chair. The football games are playing while Mom untangles Christmas lights If Dad can find the ladder, he’s sure he’ll get them strung tonight. The box of decorations from Christmases long past Is found behind the furnace, and Grandma sighs relief at last. Grandpa’s got the paper and he’s thumbing through the ads. Looking for the price of things that the grandkids want so bad. Chorus/Bridge: Suddenly the town’s alive with people smiling ear to ear. The lights and decorations fill the streets with Christmas cheer. The wreaths are hung on every door and there’s magic in the air You know it’s really Christmas, when there’s Christmas everywhere. Verse: Everything is ready, as people come from near and far. Some are at the airport, others driving in by car. Soon there’ll be a family, filling each and every room. The wait is almost over, but it can never come too soon. The kids are outside playing, and Grandma’s making Christmas treats The rest are all complaining, about how much they’ve had to eat. Soon the house is quiet, as they settle for the night Grandpa brings the presents in as he’s turning out the lights. Chorus/Bridge: Then suddenly it’s Christmas Day and the house is filled with joy. The screams and celebration of children opening their toys. Christmas wrap and ribbons are strewn from here to there. You know it’s really Christmas, when there’s Christmas everywhere. As we gather round the Christmas meal and we bow our heads in prayer We thank the Lord for all he’s done in bringing Christmas everywhere.
