Gray Regal is the Melodical Lyricist & Lyrical Melodicist who would flounder without his Fifty-50 partnership with Steve French whose Sensible Musicality and Musical Sensibility guides their Creative endeavors through the pitfalls and pratfalls of overdone & cliche production. Together, with the advantage of owning a large collection of very loud, nylon shirts they have recorded over the years a substantial collection of music which though mastered and ready to go has not been pushed to the pimps of pain.... We record what we want to hear. We hope it's what you like to hear.

Story behind the song
Driving in London a saw a delightfully (!) pretty young lady in a yellow cardigan. A picture of Loveliness. 1st verse came immediately. Song was written within a week. I remember playing a track from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers' Mothers Milk - ultra Heavy funk- to Steve and John Flanagan. They were non-plussed. I then picked up my guitar and sang Lovely Girl. Steve loved it. John picked at the lyrics "Potatoes in Gravy??!!" I've always loved this song. A better piano take is on tape somewhere - I don't have it! A East Sussex producer (ahem) was going to get Ladysmith Black Mambazo sing on this when he recorded them for the 95 Rugby World Cup. (Really!) It didn't happen (Really!)
Lyrics
All very clear and audible - Have a listen
