Story behind the song
"Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," written in 1917 by Leon Jessel, is a perennial favorite of the Christmas season. I recorded this version with virtual instruments from Garritan instruments, including Personal Orchestra, Concert and Marching Band, and Jazz and Big Band. It was recorded for the 2008 edition of the Garritan Community Christmas CD, which is accessible at www.garritan.com. Enjoy!
