Story behind the song
This is a song about my relationship with my husband.I'm singing this with Daniel Thompson
Lyrics
We always said that we might go to Aspen Or drive around New England in the fall, Or see the lights of Hollywood and Southern California, But we never made the USA at all. We thought one year that we might get to Paris, And stroll the Champs Elysee in the spring Sip a glass of vino on a boat in Portofino, But we never went we never did a thing. Chorus And we could talk forever ‘bout the things we’ve never done. Think about all the things we’ve missed. But I don’t really care ‘cos lovin’ you dear, Is always at the top of my list. We made a plan to go out to Hawaii, And spend a week or two there in the sun. Lazing and dreaming on the beaches of Oahu But baby that’s a dream that’s yet to come. Chorus And we could talk forever ‘bout the things we’ve never done. Think about all the things we’ve missed. But I don’t really care ‘cos lovin’ you dear, Is always at the top of my list. Bridge All the times we were going somewhere Something came along and wrecked our plans But I know darlin’ we’ll get there someday. As long as we’re together holding hands. Chorus, Kel Anne 1st 2 lines Daniel 2nd 2 lines Chorus together Dan last line.

This Track by Kel-Anne and Daniel Thompson is just superb. The blending of the two artist is superb.Daniel with his gravel style country vocals and Kel-Anne with her superb soft vocals. Great lyrics and well produced. Love the Fiddle that gives it a real country feel. Fabulous backings that allow the two artist to bring out there very best. Congradulations on a superb track. Thank you Kel-Anne and Daniel Bucky Perth Western Australia gremar1@bigpond.com.au www.gremarimage.com
