Story behind the song
i wrote this after the first time i listened to "A Day in the Life." this could very well be my first song ever.... i wrote these words in november or december 2004, but didnt think it was finished and left it alone for over a year, when i found it and liked how it was.

you took me to the movies today it was about a boy who lost his dad and though the movie was quite sad you took my hand, and that just made my day walked you home through the snow left you at your doorstep, then you called my name you asked if i wanted to play a game so i came in, sat down, got away from the cold sitting down by the fireside we reminisced about old times past as we talked i could tell you liked to laugh and laugh and laugh then you took my hand and that just made my day
