Ballad with psyche overtones, recorded originally as part of a Dawnwind album.
england folk rock bedford
I write or co write songs. I sing them. Sometimes people like them...
I have been around a long time so most of my life is rapidly disapperaring in the rear view mirror ! I used to be one half of Dawnwind but that died a slow painful death. I've done the whole professional bit. It was fun while it lasted and I have no regrets. Nowadays I write songs for myself. If other people enjoy them..thats a bonus.

Lyrics
Aint no songs that I can sing bring the brightness back all the stars are fading now night's so very black coffee cups and cigarettes they wont help me to forget Karen's floating to the moon Candy bars and sugar spoons hear the sound of mandolins Now the loneliness begins Karen loves a silver Lord holds a needle like a sword he puts rainbows in her hand shows her where the pain began hear the sound of mandolins now the loneliness begins Karen's floating on the sea with all the kings of history comets firing in her hair in a world of teddy bears hear the sound of mandolins now the loneliness begins.
