Story behind the song
So I wrote about the dichotomy in me. I'm no thug, but I rap. I claim to be underground, but I want to get paid. I wanna be hard, but I love to dance. All of these things are me, and at the end of the day, I'm still doper than you! This song means a lot to me because it talks about home: Project Blowed. That's where I go to work on my skills, battling, freestyling, song writing. It's a grass roots organization in Leimert Park. The second verse describes how an average night is at the Blowed.
