I am a singer-songwriter who writes and performs progressive rock and light rock ballads on piano, keyboards and guitar. I sometimes bring in my wife, friends and former bandmembers to assist with my performances, but with busy schedules amongst us, more often than not these are usually solo performances enhanced with MIDI back-up tracks, which provide a beautiful contrast of a live vocal and guitar or piano over a pre-recorded background.

Story behind the song
The idea came for this song one night and I played the music. The very next night I wrote out the lyrics and recorded it as a long-distance mp3 message for my wife, who was traveling.
