Story behind the song
I don't even remember when this song was first written, it was sometime in the mid-90's. Wasn't finally finished until 2000 as part of 'The Machine Man,' an album that I spent over five years on before aborting due to stress and frustration.
The song was just a quick piano improv, played in one pass, with the various electronic bleeps, bloops and the like added after the fact.
'Machine Man' ended up being two songs too long for a single disc, so was one of the two that got axed. Still, a pretty nice song.
