The Tweaky Twins are a songwriting partnership forged online between Marge McKinnis in Pennsylvania and John Close in England. They collaborate mainly via midi and text files. Marge is now making the MP3s you'll find here. John, sadly, can't sing anymore as his motor neurone disease progresses. Their aim is to write melodic pop as melodically and poppily as is probably possible (try saying that fast several times after a few beers).

Lyrics
The Days We Loved When we take our final step Who knows what's next Remember dancing And all the romancing The ways we both looked up Days that were not long enough Those days were the happiest I ever knew Those days made me wish for wishes That would come true for you And when we get to Heaven Here's what we can do Remember the days we loved Remember the days we loved Those days were true When we see that golden gate we'll wait one moment Remember laughing And how we happened To take a chance with time Remembering when you were mine Those days were the happiest I ever knew Those days made me wish for wishes That would come true for you And when we get to Heaven Here's what we can do Remember the days we loved Remember the days we loved Those days were true When we look down through clouds We'll know what life was about Remember those winds For they changed our lives We'd wish we could come back I wish we had more time Those days were the happiest I ever knew Those days made me wish for wishes That would come true for you And when we get to Heaven Here's what we can do Remember the days we loved Remember the days we loved Those days were true Copyright ©2002 Music by John Close/Lyrics by Marge McKinnis 2/16/02
