Cathy and Martha were two women I met in college. I was an angry punk rocker. My mother died when I was in high school. Life had been unfair. When I looked at the world of politics I also saw a lot of injustice that needed yelling at. But these two gentle souls (who later went on to become ministers) helped me find a quieter peaceful side of myself. They help me balance the need to cry for justice with the need to share blessings.
