singer/songwriter. I write about things that happen and try to catch the emotion of the event.
Hello everyone welcome to my music! I am a native Ohioian born and raised, My music is plain and simple country folk some rock style with an easy beat and christian message. I play the 6 string acoustic guitar (Takamine) and sometimes a Les Paul. All the songs are done in my home studio and the sound quality although not professional, is enough to get the message out. I write songs that come from my heart and speak to your soul. If you like songs that bring out emotions then your at the right place. Check out my songs and let me know what you think.

Lyrics
This Friend Of Mine So full of life, it spilled out in laughter. Now just a smile is too hard to capture. He gave so much, more than he had. Where has he gone, this friend of mine. Familiar faces are not so familiar. A voice he knows but cannot find. Those simple tasks become his Everest. Where has he gone, this friend of mine. (chorus) While he waits for his ride to the top of that mountain. Surrounded by loved ones he’s left behind. He sees flashes of memory just out of his grasp. Where has he gone, this friend of mine. A twinkling smile in his eye tells me his heart still feels what his thoughts won’t allow. I know God is with him, as he fights to return from where From where he is now. He’ll not make it back to the life he once knew, The music and laughter are lost in his mind. A much greater prize awaits this old friend. God will take care of, this friend of mine. (repeat chorus) last line different He knows where he’s going, this friend of mine. I know God will take care of, this friend of mine ©2005 Karl Hecky .
