Mushroom Cloud
Mushroom Cloud is a metal band from Denmark. Started out in 2008 when Dmitriy and Simon met through mutual friends and found out that they shared the same ambitions and passion for old school metal music. They immediatly started jamming on riffs to create songs. A long creative process then followed, trying different ideas. A handful of musicians were tried out for the band but nobody permantly, until Morten answered an add for the position as vocalist. Morten fitted the music perfectly and was exactly what Mushroom Cloud was looking for. So with Dmitriy on Guitar, Morten singing his lungs out and Simon on drums, Mushroom Cloud was ready to record their first 3 songs which would be featured on their debut EP - Blind Lead The Blind. Recorded at CB studios April 2010 with help from friends. MC is ready to explode upon the Danish music scene!
At the end of 2010 Mushroom Cloud finally had a full line-up, Alexander joined the band handeling bass duties. The band entered practice mode to get Alexander up to date and ready for Mushroom Clouds first gigs which were already planned in 2011.
MC have since played their first concerts with great succes and are now busy writing songs and getting out playing as much as possible.
Mushroom Cloud recorded their second EP - Enola Game in June of 2011. Recorded at a much more low-budget studio than their first EP, the songs on Enola Game gave a much better picture of where Mushroom Cloud were musically at the time.Band/artist history
