Been rapping for 2 years now. Still not as good as I'd like to be. But practice makes perfect. Most of my creations have been battles on a site called hiphop-battles.com and so far I seem to be liked somewhat. I've been getting back into writing songs now and will soon be putting up my recording room. It's definitely going to take some time.
