MTG Music Presents: MC SmartGuy 13 year old Rapper/Dancer/Actor, MTG-First Lady/CEO & J Dawg The Entertainer a Ragga DJ. We are collective of family and friends from NW London, England that just love entertaining.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
MC SMARTGUY is 13 and comes from Harlesden NW London. He is unique and can only be described as a mixture of Usher(Dance Moves), Nas(Positive lyrics), Lil Bow Wow(Young Talent) Will Smith(Party Vibe) & Elephant Man(Ragga Flow) in one!! He has the moves, he has the voice and he has the looks, and at thirteen he has already achieved the following:
Jan 2003 - SmartGuy won a BBC competiton and he got to perform "Dilemma" live on Top of the Pops with Kelly Rowland. Copy link in browser to see him live dancing/rapping on TOTP:rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/cbbc/satshow/kellyrowland_totp.rm
May 2004 - SmartGuy won the Saba Uk Unsigned MC/Rap Final. And as a result he performed live on the Main Stage at the Princes Trust Urban Music Festival on Sat 8th May. Performing alongside big acts like Big Brovas, Jay Z Alicia Keys & Beyonce!! He had full backstage access. Mc SmartGuy's track "Don't Be Easily Led" is now starting to get airplay. The track is also being played on radio now by DJ Barrie King on SolarRadio.com/Sky Digital 879 & By Urban syndicate on soundradio.com/1503 AM/MW.
J DAWG THE ENTERTAINER - is a Ragga DJ form Kilburn, West London. He is knew to the game, but he is determined to make it big. He has performed alot in the last year and he is working on some new material to be released in 2004. Check out "J DAWG THE ANTHEM" on music page.
MTG(previously known as CaraMel.G.) is 28 & comes from NW London. MTG is like MISSY E but from the UK. She is CEO of MTG Talent, Smile Records & Smile Publishing. MTG is also MC SmartGuy's sister & Manager a Female Rapper/MC, Singer/Songwriter, Casting Director, Radio DJ/Host & TV Presenter. MTG is unique and has a real passion for music. Her energy, drive and bubbly attitude alongside her 20 years knowledge and experience as a performer is passed on to the MTG camp. Keeping us one step ahead of the game....
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes - We love performing and recording live. We like to record in one takes. OLD SCHOOL!!

We have a mix of influences and enjoy listening to all music but we love: Ragga/Bashment, Hip-Hop, Slow Jams(Jodeci), R'N'B & Soca/Calypso(MTG)!!
