Introducing..............Ms. Dramaganza
Everyday is another chance to be heard. This is the take on life through Dramaganza's eyes. This recent subject of TMZ/hip hop phenomenon has been pouring her heart out through song. Featured in numerous statewide talent shows, sharing the stage with over 20 major recording artists and managing herself along the way, is proof this is what she was clearly placed on this planet to do. She recorded her first song at age 12. Not even old enough to drive, she’d sign herself up for talent shows in the neighborhood and at annual festivals, in the Milwaukee area. Energetic, passion filled performances comes natural for the female emcee/ singer/songwriter. Acting in local plays, writing short stories, dancing, singing and rapping all foreshadowed a talented career ahead. While her peers were preoccupied with typical teen dealings, Dramaganza much rather preferred staying inside to write and rehearse new songs to be recorded. Every chance she’d get, she’d show off her talents not because she could, but because she loved music. As she grew older, she learned being an entertainer could bring in revenue. This triggered the eagerness to someday become a superstar!
Ms. Drama returned to Cincinnati and immediately gained the interest of Erin Hill of All Net Records. Erin Hill, the brother of NBA’s basketball player, Tyrone Hill, (CEO of the label) signed her to a demo deal several months before concluding the company. She realized she needed a plan B.
Disappointed, hungry and anxious to be heard, she independently pressed up and sold her Maxi Single entitled "Its My Turn". The underground product generated a nice buzz in Cincinnati and its’ surrounding areas. The single did extremely well between Indianapolis, Milwaukee and Columbus. She later utilized the proceeds to complete her schooling to relocate to Atlanta, which was her plan B. Since then, she released a mix tape entitled Extra!! Extra!! Got Beats? Vol.1. This favorable project was followed by her most recent project, appropriately titled “The Girl Next Door”. This piece includes all of the elements that will draw you closer to this underexposed super star. Ms. Drama independently produced a video to a dance song called “Do the Down the Way” featuring the Bishop of Crunk. In the mean time she’s already building her brand by promoting/producing a showcase for peer artists called “The GroundHog Train Network”. This event is dedicated to introducing industry peers and hopefuls to a necessary networking session and features a concert of an elite list of underground artists. Recently double nominated for 2 Female Hip Hop Honors, a house of blues encore performer and just a down to earth cool person, Ms. Dramaganza a.k.a Harriet Tubman is filled with passion and it is evident that once the groundhog tracks are laid, the start of a new era will begin to manifest.Have you performed in front of an audience?I perform any where I can. It's special everytime because no two crowds are alike. I get an overwhelming response each time.
