Playing for almost 20 years, M Scott Horn’s instrumentation and voice have the solid, authentic maturity reminiscent of the independent yet traditional solo artists in acoustic blues and folk. The diversity of styles covered in his first release, the command of the material, and the versatility of his approach seem deceptively simple. The presence of the matured artist is evident, like the painter, writer, or sculptor who knows when to stopan underrated component in every endeavor.
