Even from a young age i have always been interested in music. Ever since knowing what a DJ was i had always wanted to be one, highly influenced by my dad who was working in discotheques and clubs at the time. One of the best things that I ever had bought for me was a small casio keyboard, and at the age of four started having piano lessons with a neighbour. Over the years I have always persevered with practice and lessons and have managed to reach Grade 7 level Piano. Learning the piano became a good grounding for my knowledge of music, and at the age of six, my parents bought me a set of belt drive turntables for christmas. And thats where it all began!
After scratching through some of my dads record collection, i eventually built up a collection of my own. And after listening to countless numbers of mix tapes, found the skill of beatmatching! I practised for hours every day until i mastered it!
12 years later, and im still learning every time i touch the turntables.
I'm now concentrating on the production side of music. As well as Djing im now working as a Music Technology Technician at a local college.Have you performed in front of an audience?Zinc (Southend), Club Ego (Southend), Sun Rooms (Southend), Saks Underground (Southend), Dreams (Southend), Kings Club (Canvey), Club Monaco (Canvey), And many smaller venues and private parties.
