out of faribault mn,mr pooj has been hated on more than any local rap artist,with the release of 2005's hydro,an album more than 3 years in the making,came all types of hate,recorded in a home studio known as the "house of plat",and produced by dr dirty the don of faribaults plat plus label,the album was originally distributed by plat plus on burned cds for 5.00 a pop,then the album was professionally pressed and distrubuted by the local label "13/13 records",under an agreement with platinum plus productions,for 10.00 a pop,the album was released on dec.6 2005, with its bad audio quality and freestyle feel,the album was more of a freestyle tape than an album,but it did have a few notable tracks,due to the original burned distribution and the fact that every assole and there mama want a free cd,the album suffered sales wise,then in jan 2006 plat plus disputed the release of the album so it was only distributed localy from that day,suffering a blow to mr.poojs self esteem,and a falling out with the label,in the following months mr pooj was dropped from the label,,but from lessons learned and bridges burned,mr pooj found his style,and launched all of his efforts with 13/13 records,and is now on the war path and back in the studio,flowing like never befor with blazing beats and a new style,as you can hear by the 2 new singles,"break em' off, and "cdz still spinnin'",mr poojs new album"...and this is my life",due out this fall on 13/13records is sure to stimulate your ear drums,,,,it wont dissapoint
