Hey all. I was checking out your message board and all that good stuff and it looked a little empty so I thought I'd say hi. Really enjoyed the show at Sam's on Friday night and although it wasn't very crowded, I know I wasn't the only one. You guys are very talented -every single one of you!! Pat, you don't look like you can belt out the tunes like you do, but WOW!! And Chris, even though he's just a baby, can really bang on those drums like a rockstar. Evan and Jared, you guys make the whole band fit together perfectly. Why doesn't Jared have a profile?? I'm still upset about the whole "We didn't have time to get organized and bring CD's" bit. Next time you need to coerce a good friend into doing a little bit of PR at the show, not to mention making a little bit of cash for yourselves. Sadly, I am a "normal person" with a lifestyle that includes a 40 hour a week job and some responsability, so when there' an opportunity to go out and party and listen to a great band, the opportunity

Dear Mr. Friend, I am sorry to report that I will not be able to attend your rock concerts this weekend. I was offered a free plane ticket to Chicago for my super-cute niece's 2nd birthday party and I simply could not decline. However, you can rest assured that I will be rocking out with Mr. Friend in spirit, but my spiritual cover charge will not be part of the pay you recieve at the end of each night. So I guess I am ripping you off. Take that bitches. Hope the shows go well and hope the backstage betties are plentiful and easy.

Up late doing homework (way too early in the semester for this sh***). Thought I'd post cause I'm listening to Free Breakfast, and I'm wishing that it really was free breakfast because I'm hungry and I don't have any cash on me at the moment.

Well sh***, I am bored and I am putting off homework, so I figured I'd write a note to Mr. Friend on an even more personal level. If you're wondering what motivated this rash of (two) posts it was a conversation on the telefono con Evan in which the focal point was the ever changing world that is Mr. Friend. More or less the point of this message is that I am extremely proud of Mr. Friend. Of course I am proud because you are my friends, but it's a little deeper than that. I remember when I moved to Athens I thought I would have no problem finding like-minded musicians with whom I could find common ground and easy communication. Not so. It's not easy to find a group of young and often irresponsible adults who share the same influences (especially with our oddball tastes), same motivations, and same sensibilities. I think this is the root of my admiration (and hidden jealousy) of Mr. Friend. You guys really have it going on. You work hard and it shows. Every time I come back to WV I hea

Hello Mr. Friend, Greetings from one red(neck) state to another. The only reason I am posting here is so that when you guys are huge rock stars I will have documentation of the fact that I was down from day one. This will assuredly help my cause with the ladies when that day comes. Hoping I can make it up for your upcoming gigs, but if not I expect a private performance in Pat's basement over Thanksgiving break. I might even throw dollar bills in your guitar cases. Keep up the good work fellas...see you soon. -Joel

mr. friend is awesome....you guys are my second if not first family....pat and evan especially...i really don't know where to start....i guess i should say thanx for putting up with my no car having ass for the last two years and for just showing me love....from picking and dropping my ass back off in huntington..pat for letting me sleep in his floor and practically live there when I'm in charleston....evan for putting up with me....i dunno...I'm kind of at a loss for words...i really enjoyed making music with you guys and still hope to still play sometime in the future when the circumstances are right....right now though...life is too hectic from school to work to other stuff for me to keep putting up the impression that I'm not vulnerable to life and its situations.....umm....i hope you guys aren't mad...for me it was an AWESOME experience...it's not like im moving to Alaska or something....you guys are my dear friends and I hope you can understand where I'm coming from...it's not re
