Mr.Fixit
Mr. Fixit is a local Tulsa band who has been active since February of 1999. The band regularly plays such establishments as Daves on Dickson, Slow Duck Saloon,South Boston Liquid Factory, Crow Creek, The Winner’s Circle, Full Moon, Blue Rose, The Brink, Steamroller Blues, Woody’s, Grannie’s Attic in Tahlequah, and The Pit Stop in Collinsville.They have opened for national acts such as Stroke9. They have played such civic events as The Gatesway Balloon Festival, 1999 Tulsa Tornado Aid and, 1999 Benefit Show for MS1000 Bike Ride. FiXiT plays their own style of original material as well as covering such bands Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Police, The Goo-Goo Dolls, Fuel, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, and many more.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play almost every weekend, our main gig lately has been in Fayetteville Ark., at a place called Daves on Dickson. It's a great place, got almost 1000 people capacity, we played for as many as 500 people there. So far the highlight wouldve been opening for Stroke9. They were great the fans rocked!!!!
Your musical influences
From the Cure to Bella Fleck to The Police to Zepplin to Corrosion of Conformity. Very broad spectrum of influences in this band.
