My band (I am Orion) play locally but are also looking into a nation wide tour sometime next summer.
Your musical influences
Shit, all depends on what im doing. As far as mixing and such Im really digging Michael Keene right now. The way he gets tones is unbelievable. Music in general...I'd say Veil of Maya, The Contortionist, After the Burial. Individuals I'd say Marc Okubo, Tosin Abasi, Jeff Loomis.

Alesis I/O converter with full drum triggers
Superior 2.0 (soon to have Metal Foundry expansion) for drum samples
Trilogy for bass, but soon to have actual bass, whooop.
